crochet a little beanie

Happy Memorial Day to all my lovely American friends! Thanks for stopping by. I hope you're enjoying some lovely weather and yummy food on this long weekend. We had our long weekend last weekend for Victoria Day, so today it's just business as usual around here, which means I've had time to put the finishing touches on my latest pattern!

a fun little hat to crochet
This time it's a sweet little newborn baby beanie! The crown of the hat is reminiscent of a granny square (although, it's not actually square!), thus the name baby granny beanie. The body of the hat is striped and it's finished off with a soft scalloped edge, which is a nice feminine detail for a baby girl hat.

This pattern is available for purchase on Craftsy for $4.50. Have you discovered Craftsy yet? It' an awesome site absolutely loaded with all types of crafty patterns. The great thing about it is, once you've paid for a pattern through paypal, you can immediately download it from the site. There's no waiting around for the pattern designer to email you the pdf! It's really great.

If you've enjoyed what you just read, make sure you don't miss a post by subscribing to my blog's feed! I'd also love it if you'd follow along with Google Friend Connect... over there on the right!  Any questions? Please leave me a comment! Thanks so much.
