Handmade Gift Exchange

Hello again!

Two posts in one day... what's going on?! I joined the Handmade Gift Exchange and am dying to tell you all about it. Years ago, I used to be involved in several online stamping groups and, one in particular (Canadian Stamp Talk), had the best swaps and gift exchanges around Christmas time! I really missed sending (and, HELLO, receiving!) those fun crafty gifts. So, you can imagine my delight when I came across Craftaholics Anonymous and their Handmade Gift Exchange!

Thank you, Linda, for organizing this!
For the Handmade Gift Exchange I was paired up with Angela from Ontario. Angela is a creative blogger who loves being a Mom and enjoys sewing, crocheting, knitting and scrapbooking. She also has a shop on facebook called Little Pink Thread that is full of crocheted cuteness!

A Mama's 2 Cents Worth...

So, here's what I found when I opened my package! When I saw the package on the right I thought, wow those are very large gift tags! And the one on the left? It's squishy so I hope it's a hat!

Voila! The world's cutest, most adorable turquoise owl hat!
Along with a sweet shaker card!

And the gift tags? Not gift tags at all! It's a card stock bunting
complete with paper rosettes! I love rosettes!
Angela's little girl chose the phrase for our bunting, it says "Santa's Coming!"
It fits perfectly across our dining room windows.

Here's an upclose of the rosettes. Aren't they darling?

Thank you so much, Angela, for this lovely gift! I had so much fun participating in this Handmade Gift Exchange with you.

If you're curious what I sent to Angela, you'll have to pop on over to her blog to have a peek!

Will I join this gift exchange again? Absolutely!
