{ still knitting away }

Here's my current take along project; a cable toque I am knitting for my daughter. She saw one at Blue Notes that she liked and, of course, I said, "I can make that!". So, off we went to the Chilliwack Wool & Craft Shop for yarn and a pattern. I prefer to use circular needles whenever possible, but unfortunately this pattern was written for regular needles. I hate having a seam up the back of a toque, so I rebelled against the pattern and used circulars anyway. Does anyone know of a simple way to convert a pattern from regular needles to circular? I think I am doing it the hard way!

My next project will be a green scarf for my daughter to go with this toque. I told her to browse my favorite knitting website to find one she liked. She chose the Reversible Plaited Scarf from Ravelry. If you knit or crochet, you have got to check out this site!
