{ banana bundt cake with toasted pecan cream cheese icing }


Heat oven to 350°

Cream together:
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup butter

Beat in:
 2 eggs
1 cup sliced bananas
3/4 cup sour milk combined with 1 tablespoon baking soda

Sift together and add to wet ingredients:
2 cups flour
1 tablespoon baking powder

Pour into bundt pan. Bake 45 minutes.




Toasted Pecan Cream Cheese Icing

3/4 cup whole pecans - toast them by heating them in a dry frying pan until you can smell them. Cool.

1 8 oz pkg cream cheese
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups icing sugar

Beat cream cheese, butter, vanilla, until fluffy. Gradually add sugar. Beat until smooth.
