{ making a quilt }

Hello again!

This is what I'm working on today. In 2008, Rhonda "made me" sign up for the Hamel's Thangles block of the month program. At first I eagerly completed my blocks as I got the supplies each month and then it quickly got put on the back burner as I was consumed with other projects. Well, at our last Bag Ladies sewing night I decided it was time to get back at this quilt and I've been working on it ever since. Time to make and add the borders!

Now that my shows (House, Grey's, Lost) are back on I'm getting lots of knitting done, too. I am hooked on baby toques! They are so adorably delicious and ridiculously quick to whip up. Now I just need to find some babies to give them to.

A year ago I was doing working on this fun project.

A New Haircut for Me

Yesterday I decided I was looooong overdue for a haircut, so I called my hairdresser and was able to get in right away, which was really nice! It was time for a new do. I searched through google images for a cute short cut, printed it out and brought it in to the hairdresser.

Here's my hair before:

Here's the style I printed out to show the hairdresser:

And here's my hair after:

I'm still undecided whether I like it or not! I'll know better after I style it myself.
