{ working on it }

Ages and ages ago I started the Crabapple Hill Winter Wonderland quilt and I'm determined to finish it before Christmas, if not sooner! All of the redwork hand embroidery has been completed, the patchwork quilt block pieces are all cut out and I've started piecing them. Here's the first one D O N E! Yayyy. The blocks in this quilt are all different and different sizes, so I found it (more than) a little intimidating to even get started... but I'm on my way now!

If you're thinking my points don't line up or there is fullness in the block or my seams aren't quite ironed flat enough... it's all an optical illusion! In real life it's absolutely perfect. LOL

Anyone going to the New Moon set tonight? It would be nice to meet (or at least see and take a picture of) some of the cast before they leave town. Maybe we'll go back tonight. Jill? Rhonda?

  1. Your block looks perfect. I have that stitchery pattern and I haven't even started it yet. I think it's gorgeous and I can't wait to see yours all done up.
