{ tea pot quilt }

Here's a lovely little quilt I finished just in time for my Mom's birthday/Mother's Day. I gave it to her yesterday so it's safe to post it now! This quilt isn't very big... so all of those tiny little squares are really as tiny as they look - yikes! This is the first quilt I have put a hanging sleeve on and the first one I have labelled. This pattern came from an old magazine. If you really want to know I can ask her the name of it. I free motion stipple quilted it myself and bound it my usual way (double fold french binding, I think it is called). The tea pot and tea cups are fusible machine applique. I am so glad I got this done in time! Another project to move from my UFO's to my DONE folder! Yayyyy

  1. This is beautiful, Cindy! What a nice gift! You are sooo good with getting projects finished (unlike moi)...keep up the great work!

  2. I love those tiny squares. I've been thinking about using some in a quilt but I'm a little intimidated by it!
    Your teapot quilt is adorable!

  3. What a nice Mother's Day/Birthday gift. I love teacups and teapots.

  4. A great little wall-quilt for Mom!!! Very nice Cindy!! 8-)
