{ a finish }

:: This quilt is for sale for $125 CDN ::
It is approximately 41"x41"

Over the past week or so I've been on a finishing kick! I decided that I had wayyyy too many projects on the go. It's a great feeling to complete some things! This is a scrappy log cabin quilt where I used foundation piecing to create the blocks with scraps left over from a few different projects. Some of the fabric used in this quilt is Fresh Cuts by Heather Bailey and Moda Poetry Collection. The cupcake fabric was left over from an apron I made for myself.

Rhonda quilted this for me on her longarm machine... cuz she's nice like that! She used a quilting pattern (pantograph) called Popcorn.

The girls are spending the weekend with my Mom, so I'm trying to decide how to best enjoy another quiet weekend. I could just sew and finish another project, but I think I should do the responsible thing and clean {just a little} first. LOL

What are your plans for the weekend? Maybe you can inspire me to be really productive. :)

  1. i love the crispness of the white sashings, it really makes the blocks just *pop*

    i'm waiting for my curtain assistant to get here lol

  2. I love a quilt with a lot of white on it like this one. It really sets of the squares. I'm being creative with three of my granddaughters this weekend.

  3. This quilt is gorgeous! Where did you get the cupcake fabric?
