In an 8" square baking pan mix:
1 cup flour
1/2 cup sugar
2 tbsp cocoa
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
Add the following & stir:
1/2 cup milk
2 tbsp cooking oil
1 tsp vanilla
In a 2 cup glass measuring cup measure & stir:
1 1/2 cups boiling water
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
Pour over mixture in the pan. Do not stir. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Serve warm. There will be a delicious chocolatey pudding hiding under the brownie layer. Yum!
This is what I made for dessert tonight to celebrate that the girls cleaned their rooms!
You should make this... it's really good and would be even better with a little scoop of french vanilla ice cream on top.
