{ new quilting style }

Here's a new quilting style I just invented... rat's nest quilting. I'm sure none of you have ever quilted with such precision and creativity. ;-)

What is wrong with my machine?? Don't tell me it needs to be serviced... I did that recently and it worked fine to quilt 4 or more quilts and now this! I guess this is why everyone needs a longarm quilter. Good thing I have two.

  1. You mean that's not normal...? I'm telling you, that's what it looked like when I tried to quilt with my machine...

  2. Check the upper thread to make sure it hasn't jumped out of place. This happened to me repeatedly, repeatedly taking it in to be serviced until finally someone realized the thread wasn't staying in place on the tension wheel at the top of the machine. Sometimes it's hard to see, but I don't think it is a machine problem. Thread the machine in the foot-down position, and this should stop happening.

  4. Oh Cindy, that's what all my projects look like... I never did get my sister's sewing abilities or the patience needed to finish a project. Your quilt is beautiful! Hope the problem is an easy fix!!!
