{ handy helpers for quilters & sewists }

Hello!

Here are some of the online tutorials and other handy websites that have helped me in my quilting and sewing. Some of these sites I refer to again and again to help figure out how much fabric I need for a certain project, or to remind myself how to make a quarter square triangle unit, etc!

So, here's my go-to list:

  1. Great post, Cindy... Thanks for sharing! I've only ventured into the world of machine quilting once and it was a disaster. I really should sit down and read up a bit so my next attempt goes more smoothly.

    Hope you had a good Thanksgiving! We're having dinner with my family today... we celebrated with Robyn's on Sat out in Alberta. Yum... double turkey dinners!

    Take care, Kimberly

  2. What a great idea! So many quilters of all levels need a little reminder, or guidance from time to time.

    Thanks for sharing!

  5. Thank you so much for these links! I'm taking my first quilting class now and trying to learn everything I can. Also determined that I'm going to learn to free motion quilt too!
