{ handy helpers for quilters & sewists }

Here are some of the online tutorials and other handy websites that have helped me in my quilting and sewing. Some of these sites I refer to again and again to help figure out how much fabric I need for a certain project, or to remind myself how to make a quarter square triangle unit, etc!

So, here's my go-to list:

  1. Great post, Cindy... Thanks for sharing! I've only ventured into the world of machine quilting once and it was a disaster. I really should sit down and read up a bit so my next attempt goes more smoothly.

    Hope you had a good Thanksgiving! We're having dinner with my family today... we celebrated with Robyn's on Sat out in Alberta. Yum... double turkey dinners!

    Take care, Kimberly

  2. What a great idea! So many quilters of all levels need a little reminder, or guidance from time to time.

    Thanks for sharing!

  3. Cindy, I know you are one of my blog followers so I wanted to come congratulate because I saw you won something for the Fall into Fall drawing!! CONGRATS!

  4. Great sites Cindy! I will save them in my quilting files. It has been awhile. I need to start on my Maypole one...Time is so short..

  5. Thank you so much for these links! I'm taking my first quilting class now and trying to learn everything I can. Also determined that I'm going to learn to free motion quilt too!
