{ christmas is coming }

Christmas is just around the corner... have you started working on any Christmas projects?

Here's a little something I am working on. Any guesses as to what I'm making?

I've completed a couple of decorative quilts lately for my bedroom, but I am waiting for a sunny day to take a picture. See you next spring. LOL

If you're in the Fraser Valley area I should let you know about the quilt show happening this weekend! It's at the Chilliwack Alliance Church this Saturday from 9:00 - 4:00. I will be there working in the Quilted Cats Hideaway booth with Rhonda and Linda. We'll have lots of neat things for quilters including some awesome new books (Cozy Cabin Quilts by Thimbleberries), these wonderful pens (Marvy Erasable Marker) that I can't live without and thread - lots and lots of the very best thread! Plus, of course there will be many beautiful quilts on display for your viewing pleasure and inspiration. See you there!

  1. I have no idea what they are but they are neato! Some of the ladies of my church are going to make quilts for some Ukraine orphans and I have volunteered to help at least cut and iron for them. Hopefully along the way I'll learn some more about the quilting process...yay! Have a super day Cindy!

Besides that...I just found your birth announcment card in my office that apparently never made it into the mail for you...how embarassing. hopefully I"ll give it to you in person....sorry.

  6. I'm not making pinwheels or a table runner... but Chris has the right idea! I am working on designing a tree skirt! (figuring it out as I go along). If it turns out, I may put together a tutorial or something.

    Doris, the fabric is from Fabricland.
