{ finally, a card }

Ok, this is my last post for today. Seriously. :-)

After seeing a card similar to this on Cambria's blog I had to buy the Au Chocolat paper and the 2 SU oval punches!

I made this card when stamping at Andrea's house the other night... which is what I made the chocolate banana cake for. (No, we did not eat the whole thing LOL). So, for a 3, or so, hour stamping night I accomplished one card - woohoo. I also rolled out a wack of chipboard pieces with my cuttlebug. See the flowers on the flower? They are chipboard covered in patterned paper. I love the dimension the chipboard die cuts give to a project.

  6. I just came across your blog, when looking for examples of sewn cards. It was lovely to read. I'm curious about the stampin up club that you talked about. Sounds like fun. I live in Redmond, WA, but I have a friend who I get together with to do stamping. Infact we have a session today, but a club sounds fun as well! Well keep it up, I'm going to start checking your blog for inspiration!

  7. I love the Au Chocolat paper, too and thank goodness I ordered a couple of extra packs since is has gone away. The new SU catty has the same prints in a Slate Gray and one in Red, but I don't like them as well as the chocolate, I will buy the red, though, I think I can make it work. Beautiful card. Thanks for sharing
