{ selling things online }

Have you missed me? I haven't gone anywhere, I just haven't made the time to post anything on my blog. I'll be stamping tonight so hopefully I'll have something fun to share with you tomorrow!

I was just wondering if anyone would like to share their experiences (good or bad) with selling hand made items online. Has anyone tried Etsy? Is it a good place to sell craft items like quilts or cards, etc? Can anyone recommend a good place to sell these types of things online?

Thanks for any suggestions or ideas you may have!

  1. can't wait to see what you're working on!!!! Sorry, no online selling experience here!

  2. I've missed you Cindy, you haven't visited me on my blog in a very long time!!!! Come out and play!

  3. Cindy, I just started on ESTY. It's cheap!! Free to set up and 20 cents to list. I don't know how much traffic it gets over there...I think it's new. But I figured I would try it at least. I don't want to set up a website until I get more sales.

    If you go to my blog it will send you there.

    Good luck!!

  4. Hi Cindy,
    Good to se you back on! I missed you. I have been on eBay since March of 99 and I have never had any problems. I have sold P Buckley Moss prints on there! I have been selling and buying..Of course you have listing fees, and final value fees. You can show 1 picture for free, and after that it cost you. If you are selling quilts, there might be a better sight. I know when you craft, you want to get what it is worth for all your time & effort. Good luck. If you have anymore questions about eBay just email me. Have a wonderful weekend. We have a 3-day one for Memorial day, so I will be back online on Tuesday. Chris
