{ craft critique }

Hello!

Today I have an article published on the Craft Critique website! Feel free to check it out.

Cindy

PS... an update on my quilt progress... I am now in the process of embroidering the wide borders for Rachel's quilt. I was going to keep the quilt a secret from her, but she spotted it and asked me who I was making it for. I asked her why she wanted to know LOL. She said, "I really really really wish it was for me because I really really love it!" So, of course I had to tell her I was making it for her. :-)

Some of you were wondering about what pattern I'm using for this quilt... you can see the pattern here. I really like their patterns... they're so pretty! When I am finished my current projects I want to get another one of these patterns... maybe the pears or one of their little embroidery projects. I think they would make nice gifts.

  4. Cindy,
    that is such a beautiful quilt. I have made some wall hanging quilts, and a jean one. My mom and her sisters and her mother have all quilted.....so she is a great resource for me. I feel very inspired with your quilts and I am trying really hard to resist buying more fabric for a quilt, and yes I do have some fabric around just because it is pretty. I have to get going on one for Juliana's big girl room for next year....but that is a littl ways away. I have other projects to finish first!!
    Thanks for the great article at craft critque, I just went there to check it out and was pleasantly surprised to see your article there. Thanks for those great quilting links.

  5. This is my first time visiting your site. I love it. I am a crafter and quilter and all the other fun stuff you can do with your hands (except knitting~I am horrible at it~LOL). So if I tell you I really, really, really like your next one, can I have it???LOL!
    Thank you for sharing your craft diversity.

  6. I was getting ready to work on a cute little pillow project and guess what? The pattern is from the same company that your quilt is! It's the cute little appliqued pillow with the tag on it. I like CrabApple Hill, fun stuff. I really like your quilt too and am enjoying watching the progress.

  9. Thanks for including the link to the quilt pattern you are using. It is so pretty. I love quilting also, but usually I do wall hangings - the biggest being 46"x46". I've never done one this large. Have fun with it.
