{ fabric card }

Here's a card I designed for my first Craft Critique report. You can read it here if you're interested! If you are a regular reader of Craft Critique you may have already seen it. It was posted last week while we were on vacation in Oregon.

Notice that I used a piece of fabric that was leftover from my last quilt project? I am still in love with that fabric! I have some left still and I plan to make some sort of tote bag with it. I originally planned to make a set of pillow cases to match the quilt, but I don't have enough fabric to make them both the same so I will probably pass on that idea.

Today I had the great fun of going with Jill to a Sewing and Crafts show at the Tradex. Wow, was it ever packed with eager quilters and other crafty ladies! I had no idea it would be so busy, but we didn't let that stop us from shopping! I bought the most adorable quilt kit to make Rachel for Christmas, plus a snowman quilt wall hanging kit, the adorable cupcake fabric for the apron that I've been longing to make... etc! Lots of fun!

Tomorrow morning I will be posting the blog candy that I've been promising you!

Have a creative weekend!

ETA: I attached the fabric to this card by sewing it on the sewing machine. I didn't use any tape or glue for the fabric at all.

  1. The fabric lends itself perfectly to the card! Nice!

  2. Hi love your card. Do you have any instructions on how you adhered the fabric to the card stock. Specifically what type of glue/adhesive was used. I am a big fan of fabric too and would like to try a couple of these types of cards out.

    Thanks for any information you can provide.

    grace :)
