{ de-stressify with stamps }

This morning I had an overwhelming (but fine) appointment. I started off by getting lost and driving around for 40 minutes.... so by the end of the appointment I was completely stressed out... thankfully I found a stamp store ---- ahhhhh relaxing. :-) You can see what I bought to the left. Can you believe that there is a stamp to go with my favorite punch of all time?? Scallop oval STAMP!! Wow, who woulda thought?! Then I got that scallop dotted border stamp. I figure I can pierce holes in it for a cool looking border. And I came across the flower stamp that reminded me of the one Amy used on her blog recently. I'll have to check to see if it's identical and then copy her gorgeous card. :-) The small oval stamp is going to be used as a floor for my bellas. And, lastly I finally found a piercing template that's as wide as a card! Yahoooo.... so I had fun and calmed down for the drive home.

ETA: The flower stamp is Hero Arts, the scalloped oval stamp is My Sentiments Exactly, the small oval stamp is Memory Box and the scalloped line stamp is A Muse. The piercing template is Lasting Impressions.

When I got home I found this awesome blog candy in my mailbox from Keri at Pink Lemonade. Thank you so much Keri! What an awesome prize. I've never used the coasters or giant paper clips, so it will be fun to play! Your card is gorgeous, too, by the way. Thanks!

  3. Oh see I want one of them!!!! I love what Amy does with that oval stamp it is just so great and I wonder if Lasting Impressions do that piercing template in England, that is just what I have been looking for, I thought something like that would be good instead of getting the mat pack from SU, which obviously I can't very well cause i live in England, he he

  5. Hi Cindy... I HATE getting lost. I can so feel your pain. Seriously, that is my biggest phobia. I got lost on my way home from a workshop last night and started to panic until I ended up on the Fraser Highway, looked at my directional thing on the rearview mirror and decided that left would take me East... It did... and I made it home - obviously!

    So, you're blog treats that you won are sure fun. And I LOVE that flower stamp... I, too, saw it on Amy's lovely blog and can't wait till the new SU! stamps arrive at my door.... kinda similar, don't you think? I'll have to see if I can CASE Amy's card with my new stamp.

  8. Beautiful card Cindy! I am not-so-patiently waiting for my Bellas to arrive, but did you see Em just added "lilypads" to her site today, for use as floors, backgrounds, etc., for the bellas (Made me think of it when you said you were going to use your oval as a floor). Love your site!!
