{ happy cupcake day }

Here's a cute card I made yesterday. I started it the other day by stamping the cupcake image on glossy, then coloring it with markers and covering it with stickles. I also poked teeny tiny holes with my teeny tiny hole poker around the edge and then put a dot of pink on the hole.

Did you notice how I altered this stamp? When we were at Classic in Chilliwack the other day my oldest daughter immediately spotted a cupcake stamp (she knew I'd been wanting one). When I saw it I wasn't that thrilled with the star on it, but she suggested that I should just cut off the star. What a brilliant kid! So anyway, when I got the stamp home I heated it up for 15 seconds in the microwave and very carefully removed the star.

Have a good day everyone! It's a beautiful sunny day here.

    My 2 favorites --- cuttlebug & scalloped giga punch.
    By the way, where did you get your giga scallop punch? Everywhere I've looked it's been sold out.

  6. Hi, I saw this same stamp on E-bay and thought it was adorable. I for one loved the star and thought it was something "different" then the usual cupcake stamp with a cherry on top. JMO - I do like your card thought and the bright cheery colors you used. Ida
