{ peaceful wishes }

Hello! Today I finally got my new stamp sets all trimmed, mounted and labeled. I know, it's a tough life! ;-)

One of my new sets is Peaceful Wishes. I didn't even know I wanted this set until I saw this card and this card recently.

In case you're curious how I made this card, here's a step-by-step...

1. Stamp Weathered background on Kraft card stock with Always Artichoke classic ink.

2. Stamp Print Patter background over this with Versamark.
3. Apply interference gold pearl ex with a stipple brush being careful to remove excess.

4. Edge this piece with a copper accent pen using a cork back ruler as a guide.

5. Stamp main image on Very Vanilla card stock in Always Artichoke ink.

6. Stamp "Be Merry" from the Warm Words stamp set with Bravo Burgundy classic ink.

7. Add a little sparkle to the berries with a Stardust Gelly Roll pen.

8. Sponge the edges with Close to Cocoa ink.

9. Using the DTP method, apply Always Artichoke ink to the edges as well.

10. Adhere to Bravo Burgundy card stock and trim with the Perfect Layers tool.

11. Use a Tim Holtz distressing tool to muck the edges a bit.

12. Adorn with some copper cord and some olive organdy ribbon.

Debbie Olsen and Marcia Froese, thank you very much for making me get this stamp set!! At least it was free (yayyyy for Hostess Benefits!).

  1. Cindy, these are lovely! I think I have all of the Pearl Ex colors just sitting around. You've made me want to pull thewm out and use them. Great job! Ü
