{ cool hat for a cool cat }

I just started this hat late last night and finished it this morning. It was really quick to knit since the wool is so chunky and I used size 10 mm needles. The yarn is Ornaghi Filati from Italy and it's made of 50% Lana Wool, 10% Alpaca, and 40% acrylic.

Now I'm working on a scarf with the leftover yarn. My daughter wants a pom pom on the hat, so I'll get some yarn in a coordinating color to make the pom pom and also do the tassles on the scarf.

I found the hat pattern on Garn Studios.

  1. The hat and scarf that you made a very pretty. I love the colors! I'm sure they will keep your daughter very warm.

  2. Love the colors! You'll have to post the finished set for us to see.

  3. I will say it again...I have very cute granddaughters. As well as a very handsome little grandson:)
