{ simply saturday }

This week a lot of my blog friends were on a "simple" card kick, so I thought I would follow their lead! This morning I created a couple of very simple cards using the leftovers that were on my stamping table from the last few cards I've made. I think they turned out alright, although they are a lot simpler than I normally like!!This card is 3.5" x 3.5" and is made using these card stocks: Blush Blossom, Certainly Celery, Bashful Blue, Confetti White, and then Petal Patch paper. I used my square punch to punch out pre-stamped with Paisley card stock, mounted the squares on the confetti white and then used my Perfect Layers tool to trim a nice neat border around the squares. The card base has been stamped with Linen using Blush Blossom ink.

This card is 3.5" x 5.5". The Cool Caribbean card stock has been stamped with a Linen background, then I used the Art of Life flower and "friend" from Noteworthy. It is finished off with a bit of organdy ribbon.

Thanks for taking a peek at my blog! Please feel free to leave your comments... I love reading them.

  1. Love these ones Cindy! Especially the first one. It would be nice to make a set of these as blank note cards for a gift for someone.

  3. That blue one is so simple. Sometimes it's harder to make a card without all the fancy techniques and embellishments. You totally nailed it here!
