{ christmas }

A brown Christmas card?! Sure, why not? I made a batch of these cards while staying on the Sunshine Coast this summer. They were fun to make and not very time consuming. I used my new Festive Favourites stamp set, aged copper Hodge Podge hardware. I added a splash of color with my Watercolor Wonder Crayons and aquapainter, then finished it off with a touch of SU ribbon.

Last year I made a whole pile of beautiful blue Christmas cards using Lovely as a Tree and the reflection technique. I made them in October, so a little too early to mail. I stored them away safe & sound in a card box on a high shelf and promptly forgot about them! I just re-discovered that box of cards this summer..... ooooops! I guess I'll have to find more people to send cards to this year!

  1. Very cute card - I love the use of the HP hardware on this one. If you need someone to send a card to, I'll be glad to be a recipient!
    I just found your blog recently and have already marked it as a favorite. Thanks for sharing!
